The list was compiled by LinkedIn’s editors and data scientists who “parsed hundred of millions of actions generated by LinkedIn’s 171 million members in the U.S.” The full methodology can be found at the bottom of LinkedIn’s page, but the rankings were based on four chief pillars: Employment growth, engagement, job interest, and attraction of top talent.
